Train yourself to be happy!

We've all heard about the Law of Attraction. In a nutshell like attracts like so proponents suggest a positive attitude will draw positive situations to us. But did you know that your brain gets "wired" to thinking positively or negatively? Our entire body works on memory. It is a scientific fact that when our cells are introduced to a stimulus it will react in a certain way and every time it is given this stimulus it will have the same response...and so our brains have the same reaction to positive and negative stimulus. But we can "rewire" our brain to think in a positive manner by simply not giving into negative thoughts. Try this exercise and see how it can impact your life.
First it starts with awareness. Every time you begin to have negative thoughts be aware of what you are thinking, such a "Why does this always happen to me?", "I'll never be able to do this", "I can't make enough money", "I can't afford this", "No one understands me" etc...
Next time you have negative thoughts of any kind, switch to a positive thought. This may take a bit of practice but in a very short time you will have it mastered. So next you begin thinking negative thoughts, stop and think the reverse such as "I have more than enough money to live a happy and fulfilling life", "I am living a happy and fulfilling life", "I am surrounded by those that support and love me", "I love myself" etc. If this is difficult for you, begin by just imaging your happy place...keep that picture in your minds eye for 60 seconds allowing the happiness and contentment to set in to your mind and body. After this is mastered begin saying positive affirmations anytime your have a negative thought, firmly believing it's reality.
I challenge you to try this and see the impact it has on your thoughts, mood and life. I can guarantee you'll be pleasantly surprised by the results.
